Fun Facts: fine, uniform texture; straight grain; moderately stiff and soft; moderately low in strength and shock resistance; small, heart-shaped leaves; white, cottony fiber floats from trees

Uses: Boxes; crates; palletsveneerpulpwood;
excelsior; fuel

Full Size: 80-100 feet in height, 3-4 feet in diameter; maximum 175 feet in height and 12 feet in diameter

Age at Maturity: 90 years
